This is great news for fans of the film as it means that there are tons more to recommend for similar chills and thrills. Horror fans aren't the only ones who can get in on the fun too, as even those who liked Unfriended but generally don't like scary movies have several options available to them too on various streaming platforms.

In the 2018 movieSearching, John Cho's main character, David Kim, is looking for his daughter, who has suddenly disappeared. The whole movie takes place on his computer screen as he does research, contacts friends and family and the police, and even watches the TV news.
Similar toUnfriended, the movie proves that it's possible to keep viewersengaged for the whole duration of a feature-length thrillerwith this kind of format. It's hard to imagine the film being told another way as it works so well for the mystery.
